Warts

Warts are non-cancerous skin growths that appear when a virus infects the top layer of the skin. The viruses that cause these growths are called human papillomavirus (HPV). These viruses are contagious and can be spread by contact or something that touched the wart. Warts are normally skin-colored and feel rough. However, they can also be dark, flat, and smooth.

Moles

Moles are extremely common. A mole is one color, often brown, it is round in shape, flat or slightly raised, and it looks the same from month to month. They can differ in shape, size, or color. Moles can appear anywhere on the skin from the scalp, to between the fingers, on palms or the soles of your feet and also under the nails. If there is a change in the appearance of the mole, it could be cancerous such as change in color, size, or shape.
